DEVELOPMENT TEAM SERVICES
The development team of GLALC have a range of services including but not limited to:
Site Monitoring:
This is where a qualified GLALC Cultural Heritage Officer attends to different sites as requested to investigate if the land shows signs of Aboriginal Cultural Heritage issues or significance, The site is inspected to identify and Aboriginal Cultural objects (eg: stone tools) and / or possible known dreaming sites.
Flora and fauna of Aboriginal cultural significance for the community is also identified (eg: Bush tucker / medicines, scarring of trees)
Mowing of Elders Lawns:
GLALC are contracted by DADHC to mow their client’s lawns.
The lawns are mowed on a fortnightly basis during the months of September and May. During the months of June to August the lawns are only mowed once a month.
