Mount Annan Memorial to the Stolen Generation
Gandangara was nominated for the Hawkesbury-Nepean Landcare Indigenous Community Award for their work carried out at the Mt Annan Botanical Gardens Memorial to the Stolen Generation.
GLALC won the 2007 Hawkesbury-Nepean Landcare Indigenous Community Award and was then nominated for the State of Territory Award in the same category.
GLALC won the NSW state award for the Alcan Landcare Indigenous Award for 2007, so now we're off as a finalist in the 2008 National Landcare Awards being held in Canberra in October 2008.
A big congratulations to all that participated in the creation of the memorial.
A job well done and who knows….. we might even take out the National Award.
